I'm a communications consultant, ghostwriter and storyteller based in Nairobi. I hold a Master's degree in International Relations and Development; an accomplishment that mostly proves I can overthink both global politics and fictional relationships with equal commitment.
I like characters who feel human. They get things right, get things spectacularly wrong, carry baggage they haven't quite unpacked, and sometimes make decisions that will have you arguing with them from the other side of the page.
My stories move through relationships, family, friendship, identity, ambition, psychology, mental health, loss, love, and everything that happens in between. I’m especially drawn to the gray areas, because I’ve never found real life particularly interested in being black and white.
When I'm not writing, I'm helping other people tell their stories as a ghostwriter or convincing myself that one more coffee is exactly what the next chapter needs.
